Like many cities in America, Tulsa has a significant homeless population, and the issue only seems to be worsening. God cares deeply for the homeless, and these individuals are in urgent need of help. Most importantly, they need the life-changing message of the gospel and a transformative encounter with Jesus Christ.
Today, we went to downtown Tulsa to minister to the homeless population. We distributed lunches, bottled water, and clothing, and we reached out to families living in their vehicles. We ministered to children, adults, and seniors alike.
Please pray that those who heard about the love of Christ will receive it personally in their lives. Pray also that those who are spiritually broken will experience spiritual healing.

The first event of Blessing the Nations went great! It was a simple event of going downtown and talking with people about the Lord and asking them if they need prayer needs. With the 100 degree weather all week I was concerned about what kind of response we would get for volunteers but honestly it was the perfect number for what we did. We were able to talk to several people. Including some homeless. One man was a believer and was a delight to talk with. Another man practiced voodoo and was not necessarily interested in what we had to say. Two other ladies shared prayer requests with us and we were able to prayer for them. I believe the folks that we were able to talk to were encouraged and were able to see that God’s love is still there for them.
