Day 1 of Blessing the Nations NYC mission trip……
We are here to serve the local church and share the love of Christ in NYC. Tonight was a fantastic start! After we landed and got to our lodging, we went to Times Square for evangelism. We had 3 different evangelistic conversations! The first was right after we got off the subway. 

#1 A lady in front of us dropped some jewelry without realizing it, and Julius picked it up and gave it to her. She was very grateful. He gave her a gospel tract. And she said, “Oh, my son is very religious”. We had a short gospel conversation with her and encouraged her to read the gospel tract. Pray that “Jewels” receives the gospel.

#2 I gave the gospel to a young married couple, and they immediately began asking us questions about Jesus! They were from the “Sikh” religion. We had a full gospel conversation, and we laid out the full gospel! They were very interested but were not ready to receive Christ yet. Please pray for Harry and Shannon! 

#3. There was a man who was very angry out in public. He flipped over a table and yelled at people. As he walked towards us, Julius asked him if he could pray for him. He said yes. After he pressed, the man calmed down and walked away. Please pray for Anthony. We feel he may be demon-possessed. 

#1 We had a gospel conversation with a man named Rudy at a McDonald’s during breakfast. Pray he comes to understand the gospel better in his mind.

#2 After breakfast, we had prayer time with a homeless lady named Jill. She was encouraged by the prayer! Pray she can get off the streets. 

#3 We had a gospel conversation with a homeless person named “Michelle”. This was a trans person who was very depraved in their conversation and emotionally ill. The streets of New York are spiritually dark. Pray for spiritual freedom and restoration for this person.

#4 We prayed with a homeless lady named Beth. She told us she was Jewish. She has a fentanyl addiction. It’s a sad situation. Pray she comes to know Christ before she passes away.

#5 We briefly talked about Jesus with a young couple on the subway and gave them a tract. You can see them reading it in the pic I posted!

#6 We had a GREAT conversation with local believers outside their church who were sharing the gospel as well. We posted a pic of one of the ladies there. She is from Hong Kong. Vera is waving in the picture. 

#7 I got the honor of preaching at Evangelical Bengali Church in Queens! In the picture, you can see Pastor Joseph interpreting for me! This is a wonderful congregation! After the service, we had a dinner fellowship together. It was a wonderful time! 

#8 We had a gospel conversation with a man named Marsh. He knew a lot of scripture. He knew a lot about church history. But then he began to say some things that were not true. He didn’t think the Holy Spirit could reside in you. He didn’t believe in hell. He believes that God annihilates unbelievers at their death. I shared with him that it is not true. Please pray that he receives clarity of the gospel. 

#9 We went with Pastor Joseph to the area in Queens where we will be ministering in the mornings this week! 

#10 We passed out A LOT of gospel tracts!

#1 This morning on the subway, we met a believer named Wanda. She was very sweet and interested in our ministry. We gave her a BTN card. 

#2 We met up with Pastor Joseph in Queens and he introduced us to a believer named Kelvin who is a pharmacist. He does a lot of good work for the Lord. 

#3 We went to two different Buddhist temples in Queens. It was an experience! As we walked around we silently prayed for the people there. We prayed that their eyes would be open to the truth of the gospel! We prayed that barriers would be torn down!

#4 I had a full gospel conversation with a Muslim man named Muhammad at a laundry mat! He agreed with everything I said! I asked him what would keep him from becoming a Christian, and he said his family has been muslim forever, and he cannot leave it. Please pray for him! 

#5 We had a gospel conversation and prayed for a man named Miguel. Pray he comes to know Jesus! 

#6 We had a gospel conversation with a man on the subway heading to Coney Island. He is originally from Ireland but has lived in NYC for 30 years. Pray that he will receive Christ soon!

#7 Julius gave a man on the subway a gospel track and he was very much interested in it. Julius shared the gospel with him and it turned out he was a believer. 

#8 I completely shared the gospel with the young lady on the subway. Jesus was nowhere on her radar. Pray she accepts Christ!

#9 Juliuos shared the gospel with two teenage boys on the subway and gave them tracts. He also gave another girl a tract. 

#10 We passed out gospel tracts and gospel coins to people on Coney Island. 

#11 We had a very long gospel conversation with a lady named Kam at the pier at Coney Island. I thought she was gonna get saved! She was so close, but she just couldn’t get over the issue of works versus grace. 

#12 We also had a long conversation with a man named Nick who is a meth addict at Coney Island. He has a tragic life. In 2012, he was hit by a drunk driver in a car accident. It killed his wife and child. He’s never recovered from it. Please pray for him.

#13 We had a short conversation with a man named Eric. We think he might be a pimp. That was interesting for sure. 

#14 We also gave a tract and had a short gospel conversation with an employee at the Italian restaurant in Little Italy. Please pray that he has a deeper understanding of Christ.

#1 Julius bought a homeless man named Larry breakfast and shared the gospel with him. Pray he receives Christ. 

#2 Julius shared the gospel with a lady named Erica on the subway. She was Catholic. And a teacher. Pray she receives Christ. 

#3 We saw a man wearing a T-shirt saying, “I was wired by the FBI.” He gave us a piece of paper with his story on it. We gave him a track in a gospel coin. And yes he was wired by the FBI! 

#4 At a park in Queens,, Julius shared the gospel with a man named Peter, and he was a believer. 

#5 In Queens, we met two Muslim men outside of a mosque and we gave them gospel tracts. 

#6 We gave tracts to two teenage boys. 16 years old. At the park in Queens. Pray they read them and receive the gospel. 

#7 We walked by a school, and there were children inside the fence playing. We stopped and prayed for them right there, through the fence. Pray that they would know Christ. Pray that they would grow up and be evangelists, missionaries, pastors, ministers, businessmen, teachers, and other professionals, and that they would change the city with the gospel.

#8 Julius had a gospel conversation with a man outside the subway station. The man’s name is Ray. He is a believer, but he needed to re-dedicate his life to the Lord, and that’s what he did! 

#9 In Harlem, we had a long conversation with a man named Johan. He was SO CLOSE to accepting Christ. I just knew he was going to do it. Pray he receives Christ soon!

#10 I shared the gospel with a young lady on the train. Pray she receives the gospel!

#11 We talked with a man who was spiritually oppressed in Harlem. He was in a bad way. Pray he is released from his demons. 

#12 We talked with two believers in Harlem! It was an encouraging conversation!

#13 We shared the gospel with 3 teenage boys in Harlem! Pray that they will receive the gospel soon!

#14 Gave a track to a man at a Muslim mosque! Pray he comes to know Christ!

#15 We gave a gospel tract to a man outside a Hindu temple. Pray he receives Christ. 

#16 Shared the gospel with a girl from New Jersey on the train. A Jehovah’s Witness background. Price comes to know the Lord personally!

#17 Julius shared the gospel with a lady who is Canadian. Her name was Zae. She was encouraged by the conversation, but needs to accept Christ.  

#18 I went into a Buddhist temple and just prayed over that place. Prayed that those who come in would receive the light of Jesus Christ. That their blind eyes would be opened, and that they would turn to Jesus.

#1 We had a brief gospel conversation with three teenage girls at McDonald’s. We also gave them gospel coins. 

#2 We prayed with a young lady whose name is Jody. She about to step inside for a doctor’s visit at a clinic in Queens. We gave her a tract of gospel coin.

#3 We prayed for a man named David. When I came up to him, he was very angry and just about in tears. We had a long conversation with him about his life. We prayed for him, and then he prayed that he would let go of the anger and issues that he’s going through.

#4 We had a conversation with a young lady who was a believer in Queens.

#5 Had a conversation with an older gentleman who was a believer in Queens. He knew he was a Christian, but he had not attended church in a long time. We encouraged him to find a local church.

#6 Julius had a conversation with a hot dog vendor at Central Park. He gave him a gospel tract. 

#7 We had a conversation with a man who was selling his poetry books at Central Park. We gave him and gospel coin and tract. 

#8 We gave two girls on the subway a digital Bible that comes in 1700 languages! 

#9 Give a gospel key chain to the lady on the Brooklyn Bridge who was selling fruit. 

#10 We met 2 believers from Tulsa on the Brooklyn Bridge. 

#11 We gave a gospel tract to a police officer at Grand Central Station. 

#12 We shared the gospel with a lady at a pizza place. She was a believer. 

#13 We gave a gospel tracts all over the city!

#1 Gave a coin and a gospel tract to a man at the subway

#2 Shared the gospel with a man on the subway. He’s catholic but doesn’t know the Lord. Pray he accepts Christ. 

#3 We met 2 believers in the Bronx. Had a wonderful conversation. Their names are Brian and Carmen. 

#4 Spoke with a couple of men at a small park in the Bronx. Nelson was a Muslim.

#5 Talked to two young drug dealers in a park in the Bronx. Share the gospel with them. Pray they accept Christ! 

#6 Had a gospel conversation with Casey and Chase, and baby Jeremiah in Bronx! Pray they come to know the Lord! 

#7 Had a gospel conversation with a lady named Michelle and her son named Alexander in the subway! Initially, she refused the track, and then she accepted it, which opened up the conversation. Pray she comes to know the Lord.

#8 Completely shared the gospel with our waitress, who is from Ireland. She is catholic. Pray she receives Christ. She listened very intently to everything I had to say.

#9 Some employees of the establishment tried to lure me into a strip joint. So I gave them to gospel coins and told them Jesus loved them! 

#10 Had a short gospel conversation and gave a gospel coin to the security guard of Congressman Jerry Nadler! 

#11 Street Preached the Gospel in BROOKLYN!!!

#12 Passed out a lot of gospel tracts and coins

#1 Talked with a man named Jun in a park. He is Catholic. It was a very interesting conversation. He very well could be saved. 

#2 Talked with another man in the park and shared the gospel with him. Please pray for him to be saved.

#3 Had a conversation with a man on the street corner under the subway tracks. Pray he understands the gospel! 

#4 Passed out many gospel tracks and gospel coin coins.

#5 Talked with 2 brothers in Christ about ministry! It was a wonderful conversation! 

#6 Talked w 2 Muslims at their business! Pray that come to know Christ. 

#7 Talked w a Christian brother at his pharmacy. 

#8 Met a man who converted from Islam to Christianity! He said the Quran was telling a lie. They were talking about Jesus the whole time!

On our last day, we went to a Yankees game! Yankees Won!
